This was the dress that started my near-obsession with Ann Taylor Loft. On one of the message boards I frequent, one of the girls was showing off this dress that she had just purchased to wear to her wedding rehearsal dinner. This dress wasn’t really my style, but I saw it and loved it. I went back and forth about ordering it from Ann Taylor Loft online. Even though it was on sale for $60, I just couldn’t justify buying a strapless dress. Strapless, to me, automatically ups the “dressy” quotient and I really had nowhere to wear it. Even after trying it on in the store, I managed to talk myself out of it.
A week later, while shopping with my friend, we went back to Ann Taylor Loft and I tried on the dress again. I still loved it and my friend, ever the bad influence, told me I had to have it - I could wear it to her rehearsal dinner in September (I am one of her bridesmaids). I am hoping to have a chance to wear it before then - it really is gorgeous and fits me perfectly. Perhaps a cardigan would make it a little more casual. Of course, then I would actually have to BUY a cardigan… and cardigans are just NOT me.

Oh my goodness, you too. I never make enough money anymore, since I started driving my own car and going to college. I remember trying the berry dress on at Ann Taylor, and getting so depressed(I often try on clothes at places when I am lonesome). Then I whined to the sales woman (not that it matters to her). “Why does this have to be the perfect outfit when I am broke? It is so sexy!” Some people are alcoholics, some are shopoholics, I am a tryonoholic.
