Not long ago, I attended the Bordeaux Spring fashion show. I must say, I was disappointed. The theme was A Night At The Opera, but the collection lacked the glamour, the sophistication, the theatricality of opera clothing. The collection was rather bland. Bright colors abound, but the shapes were blousy and unflattering. There was an alarming number of bubble skirts (I thought we were done with those). Everyone is going green, by using organic, sustainable materials. But what ever happened to recycling?
