A round up of some fashions-for-a-cause that have caught our attention:

Boy Meets Girl has teamed up with Urban Outfitters to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. The tote, available only at Urban Outfitters stores and online, will donate 100% of profits to Young Survival Coalition, an organization dedicated to information on breast cancer for women under 40 years old. The tote will retail for a mere $15.

The Keep A Breast Foundation, an organization dedicated to breast cancer prevention through awareness and education, has a new line of products available, with 100% of profits going to the organization. Intending to raise awareness through artistry, each piece is funky and fun. My personal favorite is the “I [heart] Boobies” shirt. Because really, who doesn’t heart boobies? I defy you to show me someone who doesn’t heart boobies! All items can be purchased through Keep-A-Breast.org or LoserKids.com

Hope Paige Designs, creators of awareness jewelry, has recently launched a line of fashionable medic alert bracelets, aimed at teens. These bracelets come in mesh, hemp, and leather, in a variety of styles and colors, allowing you to accessorize rather than announce your medical ailment. Don’t worry about the paramedics missing your bracelet because it looks too cute – all medical personnel is trained to check all jewelry on the left arm. At least 15% of all sales go towards breast cancer research, juvenile diabetes, and Ronald McDonald House charities.

Michele Glick is a painter and jewelry designer who donates 10% of all sales to various animal charities. Not only that, but she also runs Etsy For Animals, a group of Etsy sellers who donate a portion of their sales to various animal charities. With hundreds of members, the group donates to a different animal charity each month. In October, they donated nearly $1000 to a Maryland no-kill shelter. This month’s donations will go to helping animals injured and displaced by the recent Southern California wildfires.

Jewelry designer Karin Collins believes that every BODY is beautiful. She has joined with the National Eating Disorders Association’s annual online charity auction. NEDA is an organization dedicated to awareness and eradication of eating disorders. Kira has donated several of her unique spoon pendants, one of which was specially commissioned for the organization. Nearly 200 items are available to bid on, from jewelry to clothing to iPods to concert tickets.
