Let’s see if I can get this straight. RestlessStyle.com is a fashion and lifestyle webzine that is based on a print magazine that only exists on The Young and the Restless. Savvy?
What’s unique about the site is that it is an actual real-life webzine. Singer Katy Perry was a cover girl. There is a section for readers to upload photos of their own style. The fashion advice is real - it just happens to be given by a character on the show. Actors from the show are used as models. Story lines from the show are gently mingled into the mix.
I am not a watcher of The Young and the Restless but I love this subtle blending of reality and fiction. Check it out for yourself - especially if you are a fan!
