CONTEST: Ugly Betty Season 2 on DVD

The new season of Ugly Betty doesn’t start for another week. One of the longest weeks of my life. But, to hold me (and you) over until we get new, gloriously backstabbing, haute couture episodes, we have the Season 2 set. The entire season is here in glorious hi-def, plus a wealth of extras that are far more fun and interesting than most DVD extras:

  • “On Set With The Besties” has Michael Urie and Becki Newton (Marc and Amanda) giving us a tour of the set, with “Pop Up Video” style facts. Their real life personas together are not much different from their characters, which I love.
  • The bloopers are not just the actors giggling uncontrollably. You get prop mishaps, trips & slips, and general on-set goofiness.
  • You know those melodramatic telenovellas that the Suarez family watch? Those are shot for Ugly Betty and are included in their entirety. Not bilingual? Worry not - you can watch them with English dubs.
  • Documentaries include a look at the Betty/Gio/Henry love triangle and one on Wilhemina - love to hate her.
