Samora presented traditional spring showing - pinks and greens; flowers and flounces - bookended by nautical-inspired tailored pieces in black & white & pinstripes. Her inspiration for this season is the sophistication of the French mademoiselle, from tiered ruffles to oversized sunglasses to delicate driving gloves (gotta keep that manicure perfect while cruising on your Vespa). I love the pinstripe pieces, bringing femininity into a textile that is usually considered more masculine. The floral print was, frankly, uninteresting. It reminded me of a mid-1980s spring dress. Kind of blah.
