Prismera Designs is the brainchild of New York artisan Laura Su. While she got her BFA in illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design, she jumped into jewelry design largely because the pieces she wanted were out of her price range. Laura tells us about Prismera Designs.
What is the inspiration for your line?
I’m enormously influenced by natural things and constantly inspired by artists of all fields. But my basic checklist behind designing each piece is uniqueness, versatility, and ease of care.
